The Maya serving cutlery set was originally designed in 1962 by Norwegian designer Tias Eckhoff. Eckhoff (1926–2016) was a pioneer of industrial design and a leading figure in establishing Scandinavian design on the world stage.
Defined by its distinctive mid-century form, the handle narrows to a triangular point before flaring to a rounded head. Made with high-quality 18/8 stainless steel, the serveware has a weighted, comfortable hold.
First produced for Norstaal, the Maya series became an instant classic and remains celebrated today for its distinctive shape and timeless appeal. Now made by the renowned Danish design company Stelton.
